If you're a fan of Sydney artist Takie you might want to keep this date free in your diary. On Wednesday, August 15 her solo exhibition It's All Yours opens at The Tate gallery, located upstairs at the Toxteth Hotel in Glebe.
I visited Takie not long ago as she prepared for the show. Canvases and paper sketches were scattered around the studio she has had a residency at for the past few months. It's great to see her work culminate in what promises to be an exciting exhibition from an artist working both in the street and indoors.
