artists: jumbo and zapp

Here's a poster i've passed many times but never made time to hop out of the car to photograph. I finally did and, as you can see, i think it was a good decision.

Jumbo and Zapp have also wheat-pasted in Newtown and Darlinghurst, among other places. They commonly use a large scale to attract attention to their psychedelic, cartoon-inspired posters.

This was pasted on the shopfront wall of a defunct clothing store next to the James Dean Pizza Cafe. The door had a sign stuck to it:

It's unfortunate, but a piece of street art has generated more interest for me than the shop itself. Miss u GFC.
