Colin, a Sydney cab driver, got in touch with me about what he does, explained in this video.
He's a street art photographer, but believes in its existence so much that he creates "street art zombies".
When a stencil/poster/tag he's photographed dies via council's "war on vandalism" or by trade painters, he prints off a colour copy.
Then, wait for it, these pieces bomb from the grave when he wheat-pastes them back where they originally were.
Cab driver by day, street art appropriator by night.
Good to see there's still ordinary people on the fringe of society challenging the forum in which we "experience" art/high culture/lies and _______.
